The Théâtre de la Dame de Coeur of Upton made its official debut in Singapore on October 12 when its artists and artisans took part in the official opening ceremony of the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, in Singapore Bay.
The Quebec troupe, known for its creation and manipulation of giant puppets that have brought it fame across the country, worked in unison with artists from three continents in an exotic performance on and above Singapore Bay.

In addition to the Dame de Coeur members, the event brought together Legs on the Wall, an Australian troupe, and Groupe F, the group that was behind the spectacular fireworks display at the Eiffel Tower in Paris on January 1, 2000. |
